Day 1: Yerevan short city tour

 

Arrival in Yerevan, transfer to the hotel, afternoon at leisure short city tour in the evening, welcome dinner in a restaurant.

Day 2: Yerevan- Charents’s Arch, Garni, Geghard, overnight in Yerevan

Yerevan, the 1st stop of this tour is Charents’s Arch, where we can enjoy the view of mt. Ararat,the next stop is Garni which is a Hellenistic style pagan temple built in 1st c.Then a visit to 13th c. cave monastery where according to the legend the holy lance that pierced the body of Christ was kept.The last stop is Tsaghadzor a visit to Monastery of Kecharis XII-XIIIcc.sandwich Lunch and dinner in Yerevan.

Day 3: Tsaghkadzor, Lake Sevan, Dilijan, Ijevan.

Tsaghadzor the 1st stop is rope way, the 2nd stop is lake Sevan, Peninsula-the monastery of Sevan IXc. Lunch in Sevan, then a visit to Ijevan Makarvanq monastery and the overnight is in Yerevan.

Day 4: Dilijan, Lori, Haghpat, Sanahin, Yerevan

Dilijan, Haghartsin monastery XIIIc, 2nd stop is province Lori, where we visit Haghpat and Sanahin,which are architectural monastery complexes among the outstanding works of medieval Armenian architecture and their artistic merits they transcend the limits of national culture.Lunch in Lori.Back to Yerevan.

Day 5: Yerevan, Khor Virap, Areni, Noravank, Yerevan

Yerevan, the 1st stop is Khor Virap, the deep pit where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for about 13 years by an Armenian king for preaching Christianity. Then we continue the tour to the Areni Winery where we can taste wine made by Armenian’s sun kissed grapes. The 3rd stop is Noravank,a 13th c structure with works of 2 renowned Armenian master-craftsmen; architect Siranes and architect, sculptor and manuscript painter Momik.Lunch in Noravank.Back to Yerevan.

Day 6: Yerevan, Ejmiadsin cathedral, St. Gayane and St.Hripsime, Zvartnots, Yerevan, optional visit Vernisaj, in the evening visit to an open cafe or club (jazz,etc)

Edjmiatsin (before known as Vagharshapat) is religious centre of Armenia, residence of Katholikos (Head of Armenian Apostolic Church)The 1st stop is St.Hripsime built in the City of Edjmiatsin, the 2nd stop is St. Gayane after it we will visit Mother Catedral built in 301-303,where u can be present at Holy mess. Lunch in Yerevan. Optional visit Vernisaj, where you can buy souvenirs, handicrafts.

Day 7: Transfer from the hotel to the airport, departure

The price of tour package is for each person in a group of 20 or 40 persons.

The tour package includes

Hotel 6 nights (the Spitak tun motel in the Erebuni community, professional multilingual guide, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel., transfers (to/from), entrance fees to all historical places & museums.

The tour package doesn’t include

Travel costs between your place and Yerevan (air-ticket, airport taxes,...), Visa Fees, travel Insurance, tips to guides and hotel staff as per the local standards and customs.
